Day 01: Kathmandu (1310m/4298ft)

Our airport representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. It is 7km and takes about 30 minutes.
Day 02: Kathmandu.

Today we explore the culturally diverse city of Kathmandu by bus with a local guide to ensure you receive the best explanations about the amazing sites seen on the tour. These include, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Patan Durbar square. It is about 35 Km. It takes about 6:30 hours.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Phakding (2610m/8563ft).

An early start takes us to Tribhuwan International Airport for the 30-minute flight to Lukla (2804mtrs). On arrival at the airport our guide will brief us and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2610mtrs). 3 hours.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft)

We continue our trek, following the Dudh Koshi river. We complete the National Park entry formalities at Jorshale and then a steep climb awaits just before Namche Bazaar. You should get the first proper glimpse of Everest and the surrounding mountains on the way to Namche Bazaar, which is at an altitude of 3440m. 5:30 hours
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft)

Known as the ‘Gateway to Everest’ we will spend today here in order to acclimatise and adjust to the thinning air. As well as a short trek there is a museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people to visit. More importantly, from here you will get the first proper glimpse of Everest and the surrounding mountains, the day allows time to observe and reflect the journey ahead. 5 hours.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m/12664ft)

We trek to an altitude of 3850m today. On reaching Tengboche your guide will tell you about the local monastery situated here. The group will be taken to observe the prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the day’s trekking went. 5:30 hours
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m/14468ft) Our trek continues to climb as we head to the altitude of 4310m taking our time so not to be affected by the thinning air. 6 hours.
Day 08: Dingboche (4410m/14468ft) Our second acclimatisation day.

Today, you will trek to Chhukung Valley and back to Dingboche. We go to Chhukung Ri (5546m), this point offering fantastic views of the fifth highest mountain Makalu. After appreciating the surrounding scenery we trek back to our base in Dingboche, relaxing in the evening.
Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuje (4910m/16109ft)

The trek continues, ascending to reach Dugla situated below the snout of the Khumbu Glacier, which will be a convenient place for lunch. The trail starts steeply to climb up beside the glacier moraine, the track eventually leading to a small cluster of tea houses pleasantly situated at Lobuje, after a couple of hours. Today our trek climbs to 4910m. 5:30 hours
Day 10: Lobuje to Kalapathar (5545m/18192ft) to Gorak Shep (5153m/16906ft)

Today is the day to reach one of the highlights of the trek. We start early to reach the Kalapathar viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest, as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains & the Khumbu glacier. We then descend back to Gorak Shep & overnight. 6 hours
Day 11: Everest Base Camp (5363m/17595ft) and back to Gorak Shep.

Leaving early we trek up to the Base Camp where many explorers have begun their attempts at scaling the world’s highest mountain. Today we reach our goal by trekking to Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5363m. Contouring along the valley side, the trail leads on to the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and eventually reaches base camp near the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. After appreciating our efforts and photographing the achievement we return to Gorak Shep. 5:30 hours           
Day 12: Trek to Zongla (4710m/15453ft) We descend to Zongla (4710m), the base camp for Chio La Pass. 5 hours
Day 13: Zongla to Thagna (4500m/14764ft) via the Chola-la cross (5420m/17782ft) We begin the day by climbing to Chola-la (5483m) crossing over and descending once more to Thagna (4500m). 7 hours.
Day 14: Trek to Gokyo (4790m/15715ft) An easy day (2 hours), across the Ngozumpa Glacier, takes us to our final destination, Gokyo (4790m). This will be our base for the next 2 nights.
Day 15: Gokyo to Gokyo peak (5410m/17749ft) Our day begins with a steep climb to the top of Gokyo Ri (5483m). Despite the early start all those who attempt this will be rewarded with some of the most spectacular views. Overlooking the Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and taking in the panoramic views of the whole Khumbu Himalayas. See the giants Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481m), Cho-oyu (8153m) and Gychung Kang (7922m). Take time to enjoy the views or for the more adventurous explore the glacier and Gokyo peak before returning to the camp early afternoon. 4 hours
Day 16-17: Descend to Namche Bazaar via Dole (4210m/13812ft) Leaving the mountains behind us our descent takes us through Dole (4200m) before continuing back to the town of Namche Bazaar (3440m). We arrive back into Namche Bazaar early afternoon allowing time to explore and reflect on the trek just completed. 9 hours
Day 18: Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2610m/8563ft) Continuing our descent we overnight in Phakding. 5 hours
Day 19: Phakding to Lukla (2840m/9318ft) Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began what seems a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part.
Day 20: Lukla to Kathmandu. After breakfast,we will walk about 5 minutes to the airport to catch our return flight to Kathmandu. The planes usually leave early from Lukla and the flight takes 35 minutes. Please note, however, that the flights from Lukla can be subject to delay or sometimes even cancellation due to the weather, and so you are advised not to book your onward flight from Kathmandu on this day. The tour ends on arrival back into Kathmandu.
