Day to day itinerary
Day 01- Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1345meters).
There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02- Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley.
Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 AM in the morning after breakfast. We provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. Places we visit are Pasupatinath temple, Buddhanath, Monkey temple, Bhaktpur durbar square and Kathmandu durbar square. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Fly to Lhasa

The tour guide will meet you at Gonggar Airport and greet you with a white scarf (called Kada) in a Tibet traditional way. Then transfer you to Lhasa City (100km's driving). On the way, you will see the big Nietang Buddha engraved in a mountain wall. Upon arrival, just take rest for high altitude acclimatization.
Day 04 Sightseeing in Lhasa

We will start from the most beautiful splendor in Tibet - Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan people's wisdom and power. Beside the numerous art pieces it stores, you can also have a bird-eye view of the whole Lhasa City and the undulating mountain ranges in distance.
In the afternoon, we will visit the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple. Around the temple is the famous bustling Barkhor Street where you can get a close touch with local Tibetans.
And in the evening, pay a visit to a Tibetan family for the special Tibetan flavor.
Day 05 Sightseeing in Lhasa

Today we will visit the great Gelugpa monastery - Drepung Monastery about 8km west of central Lhasa. It was once the world's largest monastery housing more than 10,000 monks. If we are lucky, we can enter into a dark columned hall quiet easily to see and hear the lilting, booming, chanting of sutras.
In the afternoon, we will visit Sera Monastery, about 5km north of central Lhasa. Here you can see the interesting "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" between Lamas.
Day 06 Lhasa - Gyantse

In the fresh morning air, we'll drive 270km to Gyantse, a famous historical town in Tibet, crossing the Karo La Pass (5010m) and the Khamba La Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake on the way. Upon arrival, visit Pelkhor Monastery for its superb Kumbu Stupa, a stunning architectural wonder in Tibet.
Day 07 Gyantse - Shigatse

Drive 90km well-paved road to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. Upon arrival, we'll visit the foremost attraction there - Tashilumpo Monastery. And then wander around the old town of Shigatse for its nicely decorated Tibetan houses, interesting market and bazaar...
Day 08 Shigatse - Tingri
Accommodation: Snow Leopard Guesthouse [B]
Drive about 250km to Tingri. Upon arrival, we will prepare for our next few days trekking.
Day 09 Trek to Lunjiang Village (5-6hrs)
Accommodation: Tent [B+L+D]
Day 10 Trek to Dropo before Lamala Pass. (5hrs)
Accommodation: Tent [B+L+D]
Day 11 Cross Lamala and trek to Drakchu River. (5-6hrs)
Accommodation: Tent [B+L+D]
Day 12 Trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp via Ronbuk Monastery. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the evening scenery of Mt. Everest enough.
Accommodation: Tent [B+L+D]
Day 13 Tingri - Shigatse
Accommodation: Standard 3-star Hotel [B]
Drive back to Shigatse.
Day 14 Shigatse - Lhasa
Accommodation: Standard 3-star Hotel [B]
Drive 280km back to Lhasa along Yarlung Tsangpu River within about 5 hours.
Day 15 Leave [B]
The guide will transfer you to Gonggar Airport and help you board the plane to your next destination. Your wonderful Tibet Himalayan tour ends.
