Lhasa Kathmandu Overland Tour starts off in Lhasa after taking a flight from Kathmandu to the Tibetan capital. After two exciting days of exploring the beautiful temples, palaces and everyday life of Lhasa, the real adventure starts! What lies ahead of you is a long, lonesome highway from Lhasa to Kathmandu, an ancient trade route that has kept the local people connected for hundreds of years! Even though this highway is fascinating in itself, the adventures foubd on the way from Lhasa to Kathmandu don’t stop there. The road stretches through an incredible mountainous terrain that gives you a feeling you are driving exactly on the foothills of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Since this road is ancient, there are many Buddhist monasteries on the way, which you can visit and enjoy the peace and serenity that surround them. Apart from the mythical temples of Tashilumpo, Kumbum Stupa and others, many glacial, crystal clear lakes add up to the atmosphere and will make your journey unforgettable!

Day 4 :Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m/12,956ft) via Karo La Pass and Yamdrok Tso Lake: 325km, 5-6 hours. Overnight at Hotel
Day 5 :Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795ft) via Shalu Monastery: 95km, 2 hours. Overnight at Hotel
Day 6 :Explore Everest Base Camp in the Morning and drive to Kerung Border 7-8 Hours Drive. Overnight at Hotel
Day 7 :Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft): 153km,6 hours. Overnight at Hotel
