Located inside UNESCO WORLD heritage site “Sagarmatha national park”, Gokyo lake trek is one of the most desired hiking trails of Nepal. The trek is an excellent opportunity to have an eyeful view of the Mt. Everest at a very close range. The sparkling neat, pristine blue and green waters of the chain of six turquoises, glacial-fed Lakes are one of the so-called heavenly views.

Hike along Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier avoiding the Everest crowds, but enjoy the selection of greatest views.

The major highlight of Gokyo Lake Trek includes a hike up to one of the best viewpoint – Gokyo Ri at 5340 meters for enjoying the stunning sunrise view over the world’s towering mountains and the Gokyo valley below us.

These lakes are the world’s highest freshwater lake system comprising six main lakes, of which Thonak Lake is the largest. The Gokyo Lakes are considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists.
